Byondis focuses on development of innovative medicines, including antibody-drug conjugates and immunotherapies, in two key therapeutic areas: oncology and autoimmune diseases.
The department Engineering & Maintenance Equipment is responsible for the qualified state of systems, applications and asset management of GMP and R&D laboratory instruments, analytical instruments and manufacturing systems within Byondis. The Validation Technician is responsible for Scheduling and execution of requalification activities including all associate documentation. You also participate in investment projects and are responsible for writing qualification documentation and the execution of system qualification activities.
The activities take place within the Operations, Supply Chain and Quality Control departments of Byondis. In this role you have intensive contact with external parties but also with internal departments. You will work in a dynamic environment with international colleagues.
Ownership of activities with a mindset on precision and quality of your own and your colleague's work. A natural team player with an attitude to collaborate and communicate as well as being flexible to act in a fast changing and demanding environment. You are result-oriented and use proactivity and creativity as your methodology to find solutions. You are self-motivated which enables you to work with a high degree of independence
- Minimum MBO+ level education, in a technical field of expertise
- Practical experience with and interest in performing system qualifications activities under cGMP.
- Familiar with requirements from guidelines such as Eudralex, ISPE etc.
- Experience with change management and deviation control is an advantage
- Practical project experience (execute independent small project) and broad technical knowledge is an advantage
- Good communication skills (verbal and written in English and Dutch)
- A team player, that is willing to take over work from other colleagues
- Experience with writing qualification documents (in English)
- Operates well in a dynamic environment
- Enthusiastic and motivated, with a high degree of independence
- Result-oriented, proactive and creative in finding solutions to get the job done within established timelines
- Planning & organizing, able to draft a realistic time schedule for certain activities and plan them in the right order
- Problem solving, able to links up simple logical connections and relationships and looks to a problem from various points of view

Contract hours: preferably full-time (at least 32 hours).
