As a Transaction Officer Corporate Payment Services (CPS) you will work on a variety of tasks within the operational team of Corporate Payment Services. You will be responsible for accurate transaction handling. Your work environment is equipped to control risk and to meet the international service level agreements and market practices.

    Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Corporate Banking Services (CBS) is part of W&R Operations. CBS exists of four operational Back Office teams: Loans, Agency Desk, International Trade Services and Corporate Payment Services (CPS). We serve the top of the (inter)national listed and non-listed corporations. Our customers require high standards and are demanding a very high service level. CBS works in close relationship with other departments/stakeholders within Rabobank, such as local branches, several product groups (such as Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, and Financial Market Services), IT and several other departments including Credit, Finance and Compliance.
    CPS supports business clients in Europe for payments and collections. This support concerns both the administrative fulfilment side as well as transaction handling and investigation side. Next to Europe, we also service the South America branches (Chile, Brazil and Argentina). Since we also service the South America branches, we have on-call shifts until 22:00 hours every day. With you as a Transaction Officer CPS, the team will consist of 9 diverse colleagues.
    Making a difference

    • Customer and account set-up.
    • Monitor and process (manual) transactions.
    • Identify failing transactions; escalate problems to senior staff or supervisor.
    • Perform internal and external position reconciliations.
    • Perform inquiries on differences in positions, breaks or errors.
    • Maintain (or advice on) processes and work instructions.
    • Liaise with front and back offices in the Netherlands, Europe and South America.
    • Set-up of customer payment instructions.
    • Identify process improvements and implement those.
    • Liaise with IT for functional changes.
