    Job Description

    Main purpose:

    Leads and coordinates the NWE Total Rewards & HR Operations team and is accountable for:
    1) Delivering qualitative, correct, and efficient NWE HR (admin) processes associated with the employment cycle, identifying opportunities to continuously improve processes and ensuring HR data quality, leading the Control Environment agenda related to HR topics, and ensuring a smooth interaction with payroll department.
    2) Delivering the Total Rewards strategy and programs at BU level, supporting HRBP's with Business Transformation & Labor Relations Agenda.

    Accountabilities:
    TR / HR Ops

    • Build high-level capabilities within the team to ensure timely and adequate response to ad hoc questions and reporting needs from the HR team and the broader business
    • Build a solid relationship with local HRBPs and Europe Service Delivery teams (HR Service Center), centers of excellence (TA, TR, …), and Control team
    • Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, following corporate and local policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls
    • Leads and develops team members (+- 7) to perform in their role and supports career growth to future roles.

    Total Rewards
    • Provide specialist NWE Total Rewards expertise and stakeholdership to HR Teams and LT’s during implementation and optimization of TR programs, policies, and processes for leveled and frontline employees to ensure market competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, best practice, and legal compliance;
    • Oversees local execution of global annual Performance Management Process by TR Analyst (design, comp budgeting, monitoring, BU HR & Mgr capability) and Salary Planning Process (surveys, market pricing templates, modelers) in close collaborations with COE’s and KBS teams;
    • Participate in salary surveys/benchmark peer groups and analyze market data to ensure the company to be aligned with the market on both compensation (salary, bonus,…) and benefits (car, pension plan,…)
    • Identify Benefits policy optimizations based on market intelligence and internal data;
    • Serve as the primary TR and CoE interaction point for HR Business Partners and SMEs within Sectors or Regions;
    • Partner with HR and LT’s in delivering business transformation initiatives and supporting Labor Relations strategy.
    HR Operations
    • Accountable for delivering qualitative, timely, and correct end-to-end administration of all HR data for NWE employees associated with the employment cycle (onboarding, position changes, terminations,…)
    • Accountable for correct and efficient (re-)design of HR admin processes compliant with company policies and local legislation
    • Builds and maintains a solid and trustful interaction between HR and the Payroll department
    • Actively investigates and leads efficiency improvements both in Hr admin processes as in HR systems or the interfaces with HR systems
    • Plans resource needs, manage workload distribution across the HR Officers, and monitors the delivery in-line with service levels
    • Develops and monitors key controls to validate HR data quality and accuracy across HR systems
    • Leads the Control Environment agenda for HR NWE, including coordinating the annual Risk Assessment and preparing and executing corporate audit requirements as well as building & coordinating CE remediation plan
    • Act as Project/Business Lead for HR tool/systems updates and implementation projects

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Key skills/Experience:

    • Master in HR/Economics/business administration
    • Knowledge of Belgian labor legislation and Dutch labor legislation
    • Experienced in the corporate FMCG HR environment
    • Strong communication & people skills and interpersonal influencing skills
    • The agile, inquisitive approach focused on continuous improvement
    • Strong analytical skills; transforms data and information into meaningful insights
    • Drive for result
    • Broad understanding of HR activities and how HR processes link into an overarching HR strategy
    • Consulting skills to understand business needs and translate into effective TR programs and processes
    • Proactively shares information, best practices, and ideas with others throughout PepsiCo to build broader capability
    • Navigating in the Matrix and succeeding in virtual communities
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience in HR, preferable in matrixed FMCG environment
    Differentiating competencies:
    • Fluent in English and a strong preference for Dutch
    • Excellent in building relationships and networks both in HR and business communities at local and ESSA-levels
