    Drive operational performance of purchase orders for third party items, for the Health Systems business of the entire Western Europe Market.

    This position can be based in The Netherlands or any Western Europe Market location.

    You are responsible for

    • The operational performance of purchase orders for third party items, from placing the order to external vendors, to ensuring on-time and in-full delivery of those

    • Cooperate with the GBS (Global Business Services) order management teams, and the Market Procurement teams on purchase order management and master data management

    • Drive Customer Demand Fulfilment by ensuring material availability in the supply chain, including accurate CDD (Committed Delivery Date) information

    • Manage escalations and fast resolution of issues (e.g. when vendors do not confirm delivery dates in line with expectation and/or delivery reliability is poor)

    • Contribute to an improved third-party catalogue management

    • Ensure that all third-party items that are procured, are compliant with internal third-party risk assessment procedures, as well compliant with European regulations, like EU-MDR

    KPI’s: Supplier delivery performance, OTIF (On Time In Full), Master data accuracy, blocked invoices, third party DEFOA (Defect on Arrival).

    You are a part of

    The Integrated Supply Chain team of Health Systems Western Europe Market. You will report to the Customer Fulfilment Leader for Wester Europe.

    To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

    • You have a Master or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Vendor Management)

    • 2 - 5 years’ experience in an operational role within the field of Purchasing / Supply Chain Management

    • Knowledge of the medical (healthcare) industry and products

    • Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems

    • Customer-first mindset, unwilling to compromise on quality standards

    • Broad understanding of various supply chain processes and how they connect together (i.e. manufacturing, supply & demand planning, fulfilment, reverse logistics, refurbishment & scrap)

    • Strong analytical skills, ability to bring together various sources of data, analyze it effectively to extract meaningful insights, and communicate these effectively to stakeholders (fluency in English required, both verbally and in writing)

    • Works as part of a team towards a common goal, encourage diversity

    • Results oriented: take personal accountability to deliver results

    • Ability to manage a number of tasks at once

    • Relentless seeker of next-level operational performance

    • Curiosity to explore new ideas, especially within the digital and automation space (e.g. creating better data visibility through automated digital dashboards)

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Fluent in English; other languages beneficial
