    Temporary Executive Assistant Amsterdam

Our client is looking for someone who can draw on their experience to take a look at processes and procedures in the team, to the division of portfolios and to help enhance effectiveness.     An Amsterdam-based research, publishing and educational organization in the field of taxation and legislation. Their clientele stems from the Fortune 500 companies, government organizations and multinational firms, amongst others.

    • Salary: Between €3900,- and €4300,- gross per month depending on experience

    Over de functie

    The Executive Secretariat (2 persons) supports the four members of the Executive Board; the CEO, the Publishing Director, the Director Knowledge Centre and the Head of HR. Furthermore, the secretariat is responsible for providing support to the Board of Trustees and Delegated Board of Trustees.

    The available temporary position requires involvement with high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. Apart from taking up the core tasks, we ask this person to take a look at processes and procedures in the team, to the division of portfolios and to help enhance effectiveness. If the agenda admits it, and in close cooperation with the current Executive Secretary, the new secretary will also be required to support the HR advisors.

    Tasks at the EB secretariat include:

    Organization, planning and logistics

    • First point of contact for the members of the Executive Board, requiring ability to communicate effectively and present a pleasant and professional image at all times;
    • Take care of all organizational and logistical activities for meetings and presentations;
    • Responsible for managing and maintaining an efficient planning of the different diaries.

    Document Management

    • Prepare correspondence, reports and materials for publications and presentations (in the corporate style);
    • Gather data and compile various reports, such as the Annual Report;
    • Create, transcribe, and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.

    Projects/Assignments

    • Coordinate and conduct project-based work and assignments.

    Requirements:

    • HBO + level with a secretarial or personal assistant degree;
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a senior secretary in an international environment;
    • Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
