    Teamlead Data Analytics

    For Rabobank Utrecht we are looking for a Teamlead Data Analytics.

Our Credit Risk Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Product Owners stand out from the rest due to the complex environment of regulatory requirements and the historical data that is relevant for our domain. We need a team lead who constantly questions the status quo and continuously looks for improvements.

    The role is suitable for candidates willing to provide focus on development of their team members first. Next, focus on progressing and improving solution delivery and their associated escalation points, and finally someone who understands the content of the work to a sufficient level so that they can act as a sparing partner to our professionals.

    Currently we are on an exciting journey, re-engineering the unchartered territory of historical data and making that data fit for purpose to enable our modelers to develop and maintain the models used within the bank.

    Within our environment there are huge amounts of data, from a multitude of systems, covering the entire operational scope of Rabobank and to add additional complexity, going as far back in time as twenty years. We have the challenge to take the past and make it look like the present so we can predict the future.

    Making a difference

    You will contribute to our team by:

    - Proactively manage our talents and facilitate career dialogs enabling our talented professionals to contribute to our overall mission statement “Growing a better world together”;

    - Combine leading and managing teams with hands-on development on data and processes focusing on delivery;

    - Facilitate and support the internal discussion with stakeholders such as the financial modelling teams, IT architec- ts, and Rabobank’s business units on issues from getting data access to bringing solutions into production;

    - Initiate and drive improvements of our own processes and working methods;

    - Co-develop a strategy and operationalize it towards a more efficient and higher standard of data supply;

    - You will work in a relatively new team totaling approximately 120 professionals, alongside 5 other team leads. You will have HR responsibility over 20 to 25 team members, coaching and mentoring is a key part of the role. Further you will supervise several projects from a process point of view.

    You have:

    - Relevant Master’s Degree (Technical (IT related or mathematics/econometrics) or Economics study background preferred);

    - 10+ years of relevant working experience and 5+ years of management experience of international teams;

    - Proven track record in leading, mentoring and growing people;

    - Experience in project management: converting ideas into live solutions;

    - Experience with senior level stakeholder management in an international environment;

    - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch (both mandatory).
