    The Team Leader Statistical Programming will be a member of the Data Strategy team within the HIMM Market Access, Digital Health and Data Strategy group. The Data Strategy team is responsible for the processing and analysis (mainly using SAS) of clinical study data within the Specialized Nutrition division. The Team Leader Statistical Programming works in close collaboration with Data Management and Biostatistics, as well as with clinical study teams and stakeholders of other disciplines like Quality Management and Digital Health. The Team Leader Statistical Programming reports into the Data Strategy Director.

    Key responsibilities

    • Line management; supervision, training, development and coaching of team members
    • Resource management and planning
    • Alignment with stakeholders within the Clinical Studies Community and within the HIMM team
    • Collaborate with third parties and clinical partners
    • Monitor quality of work, signal and resolve compliance issues and support quality audits and compliance check

    Other responsibilities

    • Drive the development and continuous improvement of data infrastructure, tools, and work practices for Statistical Programming
    • Drive the implementation and maintenance of data standards (CDISC SDTM, ADaM, define.xml)
    • Participate in relevant cross-functional innovation projects, e.g. related to automation, digitalization, data privacy, data transparency and sharing, RWD/RWE
    About you

    About you

    • A Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferably Data Sciences or Biomedical/Life Sciences
    • 5+ years of experience in statistical programming
    • Several years of experience as Programming Manager or Lead Programmer in clinical studies
    • Relevant knowledge of Biostatistics, Good Programming Practice, IT systems & databases
    • A solid understanding of the clinical trial process and clinical trial data
    • Experience with R programming
    • Collaborative team spirit
