    The Team Leader Data Management will be a member of the Data Strategy team within the Market Access, Digital Health and Data Strategy department. The Data Strategy team is responsible capture the power of data & analytics from our clinical studies and digital health portfolio within the Specialized Nutrition division. The Team Leader Data Management works in close collaboration with his/her peers in the Statistical Programming and Biostatistics teams, as well as with the clinical study teams and stakeholders of other disciplines like Quality Management and Digital Health. The Team Leader Data Management reports into the Data Strategy Director.

    Key responsibilities

    • Line management; supervision, training, development and coaching of team members
    • Resource management and planning
    • Drive the development of state-of-the-art innovations, solutions and processes for data 2. management by leading projects to keep improving quality and efficiency of the deliverables
    • Alignment with stakeholders within the Clinical Studies Community and within the HIMM team
    • Collaborate with third parties, vendors and clinical partners
    • Monitor quality of work, signal and resolve compliance issues and support quality audits and compliance checks

    Other responsibilities

    • Represent Data Management within the company and externally, support ISO audits and other audits, as well as in meetings with external vendors
    • Drive the development and continuous improvement of data collection, EDC systems, tools, and work practices for Data Management
    • Drive the implementation and maintenance of data standards in data collection as well as the EDC connection with other tools (e.g. CTMS, LSAF, IWRS)
    • Participate in relevant cross-functional innovation projects, e.g. related to digitalization, new digital tools for data collection, RWD/RWE
    About you

    About you

    • A Master's degree, preferably PhD, in a relevant field (i.e. Data Sciences, Biomedical or Life Sciences
    • 10+ years of experience in clinical data management, preferably using Viedoc EDC or other EDC systems
    • Several years of experience as Senior Data Manager or Lead Data Manager in clinical studies
    • Ability to handle both delivery and innovation projects
    • Relevant knowledge of ICH-GCP, ISO9001:2008, CDISC CDASH, SDTM, MedDRA and WHO Drug coding
    • A solid understanding of the clinical trial process and clinical trial data
    • Experience with Java script, SAS and R programming is an advantage
    • Experience with SDTM implementation and digitalization/automation is highly appreciated
    • As a candidate for the role of Team Leader Data Management you possess excellent communication skills (in English) and strong leadership qualities.
