We are looking for a Team Leader who primarily will be responsible for managing, supporting, and developing the local Clinical Education Managers, located in various countries throughout Europe. Clinical Education Managers provide external clinicians with training opportunities that focus on Applied Medical’s advanced medical devices. Our Clinical Education programs include comprehensive didactic and hands-on lab sessions and make use of some of the most advanced training platforms available.
As a team leader, you ensure the team meets the customer educational needs in a timely and effective manner, that aligns with Applied Medical’s focus and our quality standards. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing, standardizing, improving, and developing processes related to Clinical Education and you will support the day-to-day activities.
This position is preferably based in our European headquarters in Amersfoort, with an option of remote work provided the candidate can travel to Amersfoort every 2-3 months.
Team Leader Clinical Education reports to the Manager Clinical Education.
Define team goals and execute the necessary steps to ensure the department targets are met
Coach team members in their personal and career development
Assign work areas and set operational priorities
Assist with preparing and monitoring course budgets
Establish, standardize, improve, and develop internal processes, procedures and systems
Manage and coordinate collaboration across different teams and departments in the organization
Monitor the performance of team members
Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Life Sciences, Healthcare management or another relevant field
3+ years of relevant experience in a team leader position
Experience in a cross-functional international environment
Excellent English, both written and spoken
Able to travel +/- 10-20%
Knowledge of another European language is preferred
