    As an Assistant at Ahold Delhaize, your goal is to ensure efficient, effective and high qualitative secretarial and organizational support in a pro-active manner, handling most matters autonomously.
    We are searching for a new Assistant to provide support to the SVP Internal Audit, Dimitrich Stopetie & team.
    Tasks are performed in a demanding environment which requires an energetic, flexible, professional and service oriented Assistant with an eye on delivering quality with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.


    • Receives and evaluates the nature, request, urgency of incoming phone calls and also handling them if possible.
    • Resolves routine questions (such as information on the basis of available data).
    • Diarises, coordinates and monitors appointments for the manager(s) and issues reminders for them.
    • Flags up potential obstacles and informs manager/employee of follow-up on actions.
    • Acts as a first point of contact for questions from employees and external parties to the manager/department, and answers or forwards these questions.
    • Handles routine correspondence that does not need to be presented to the manager(s) (e.g., confirmations, appointments, information documentation).
    • Provides information to others independently and at the request of the manager(s).
    • Collects and processes information based on clear instructions from the manager(s).
    • Collects information for meetings, distributes required documents in consultation with the manager(s), takes minutes and prepares the draft meeting report, presents it for approval and distributes the meeting report.
    • Prepares department-specific documents based on clear instructions from the manager(s).

    • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, verbally and in writing;
    • Structured, accurate, planning and organizational ability;
    • Extensive relevant years of experience in a supporting role at C-level Direct Report level;
    • Flexible, positive attitude

    • Discreet, independent, proactive, assertive, resilient.

    We welcome caring colleagues who

    • Have a minimum of 6 years of experience working at Management Assistant level or equivalent in multi-national and commercial organization
    • Are fluent in both Dutch and English

    • Always think ahead and have the ability to understand and work within a complex organizational structure. You have a good sense of internal and external relationships.
