    We are currently hiring a Team Administrator! At BMC you will have the opportunity to learn about the international operating company that we have while serving as a central point of contact for many functions.

    BMC is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and has global operations in numerous international offices. BMC’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Accounting & Control headquarter is located in Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands (Amsterdam area). This exciting role is part of a very collaborative group located across EMEA, where people are willing to step out of their roles to help others.

    The EMEA Accounting & Control organization is responsible for statutory and US GAAP accounting (including oversight of the activities performed by the Shared Services organization), statutory reporting and filing, compliance with internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for EMEA, corporate compliance and controlling for the region, consisting of 23 countries and 39 entities. Controllers at BMC serve as trusted finance advisors to the business groups and to other corporate functions, such as FP&A, Tax, Legal and Corporate Accounting, based in the US. You will report to the EMEA Controller, who is also a board member of BMC’s entities in EMEA, and will support the EMEA Controllership team (Schiphol-Rijk and abroad), the EMEA Tax department (Schiphol-Rijk) and the EMEA Legal department (Paris).

    On a day to day basis, your job duties will include:
    • P2P activities: Provide support related to purchase requisitions and invoices in financial/procurement systems, including preparation of requisitions, monitoring of required approvals, management of POs/available funds, and escalations where necessary.
    • Compliance activities: Coordinate with the EMEA Corporate Secretarial Services provider, including managing activities related to Change Requests, signature requests and related activities (notarization, apostille, etc.), maintenance of the corporate compliance database and cost management.
    • Record retention activities: Maintain the EMEA country-specific policies for record retention in compliance with local laws and guide the process of annual document destruction for the various departments in compliance with the policies.
    • Other support activities: Include various supporting activities, which include but are not limited to: requesting legal and tax related documents with governmental organizations; supporting the Schiphol-Rijk office management team; reviewing and coordinating signature requests for the EMEA authorized signatories; arranging travel, including administrative tasks like arranging visas, coordinating team meetings; and pro-actively taking on tasks to prepare for further handling by the teams you support.
    The Team Administrator is generally known by many BMC employees, domestically and abroad, as a source of many types of information: the ‘spider in the web’!
