    Then imagine yourself to be the candidate for System architect at Smart Power! In this exciting role, you will be challenged by defining the system and ICs for the state of the art automotive, power conversion systems!

    Powering a smarter world is our mission and we execute it developing power conversion systems using state of the art solutions and generating innovative concepts for better efficiency, lower cost and smaller form factors. We are the market leader in Resonant AC-DC converters (used in PC, game consoles, TV sets power supplies). And want to expand further into the automotive onboard charging and high voltage DC-DC conversion space.

    We offer you a chance to take part in the full development cycle and be in the leading role within the system architecture group of our organization.

    Your responsibilities

    As a System Architect, you are responsible for:

    • defining the onboard charging and high voltage DC-DC system
    • defining the associated power controller ICs in co-operation with the analog and digital IC architects
    • creating a high level, behavioral application- and IC model to verify the performance over the various use cases
    • interacting closely with our automotive customers to align the system & IC definition with their needs
    • co-operating closely with other team members (system architects, IC architects, IC-Design, Verification, Validation, Test) during the development process
    • performing technical reviews and system concept evaluations
    • writing patent proposals

    Your team

    You will be part of an enthusiastic team of experienced system architects and engineers. We take care of the full development cycle, from the system level definition to the production of our ICs in the fabs. The Product Line Smart Power is based in Nijmegen, Eindhoven, Milan and Taipei.

    Your profile

    To be successful in this role you have:

    • Master degree of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Around 5 -7+ years of relevant automotive OBC and HV DCDC experience
    • Expertise in high power, high voltage systems
    • Relevant experience in system behavioral modelling and simulations
    • Experience in IC design and definition is a plus

    Furthermore, you are:

    • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
    • Good communication skills, team player, proactive attitude
    • Fluent in English language (Verbal and written)

    What can you expect

    Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
