    Support Officer, University College Utrecht

    In this role you will have five core responsibilities:
    • Housing: You arrange student housing at UCU; you allocate rooms to new students and coordinate the annual reshuffling of rooms. You work closely together with the house master and you answer students’ questions about room allocation.
    • Events: You help organize large events, such as the annual graduation ceremony and the lustrum event. You independently organize smaller events, such as townhall meetings or staff events.
    • Personnel administration: You assist management by taking care of administrative tasks, such as processing personnel changes, personnel on- and offboarding and sick reports.
    • Secretary to the college council: You assist the college council by taking minutes of council meetings, scheduling meetings and preparing the agenda.
    • Back-up management assistant: In case of absence of the management assistant, you support management by scheduling meetings and carrying out other administrative tasks.

    Profiel
    • You are a positive go-getter, a team player at heart, a proactive self-starter who likes to help others. Hands-on, stress resistant and resourceful.
    • You have an affinity with higher education and internationalisation.
    • You have a completed MBO education with several years of relevant work experience or a completed HBO education.
    • Your oral and written command of English is excellent.
    • You are digitally savvy and know your way around MS Office.
    • A good command of Dutch is an advantage, as is working experience in higher education.

    Aanbod We offer a temporary position (0.6 FTE) for one year in an international working environment. After positive evaluation, this can be turned into a permanent position. The gross salary - depending on previous qualifications and experience - ranges between €2,471 and €3,336 (scale 7 according to the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities) per month for a full-time employment. Salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% per year.
