About the Role

The Supply Planning Manager Africa is responsible for leading the efforts for the production and distribution planning of products within each country’s network, both for local and imported SKUs.

You will be responsible for the supply network planning, more precisely for the capacity levelling across plants and production lines in Africa.

Contributing to growing Diageo business, making improvements and crafting solutions in order to deliver excellence in service, inventory & savings.

You’ll have the ability to navigate the rapidly changing environment through finding quick solutions for critical decisions regarding Sales & Operations Execution.

Leading the implementation of different Supply Chain analytical tools, significant supply network projects, and different operational excellence methodologies.

You will drive scenario planning across the region through the IBP cycle to ensure delivering against regions strategic objectives including CAPEX investment requirements.

Responsible for leading and develop a team of supply and distribution planners towards operational and leadership excellence.

About you

To be successful in role you will have a broad supply chain planning experience in a CPG company and hands on experience in S&OP. Key to success is in balancing the needs of senior stakeholders.

You will have experience with systems within supply chain optimization platforms (ERP / master data, time-phased replenishment planning systems).

You’ll understand, implement, and sustain our global supply planning agenda with strong understanding of supply chain operational processes within Diageo e.g. Demand Planning, I&BC, RCCP, Portfolio Segmentation, DRP, MPS and MRP.

Leadership influencing and partner engagement skills. This includes the ability to challenge senior partners and handle tension in demand/supply conversations.

It is crucial that you have team management experience.
