    Supply Chain Planner

    Our client in Amsterdam is a global leader in beverage alcohol with an outstanding collection of brands across spirits and beer top brands in the industry. The brand portfolio consists over 200 outstanding brands, with brands sold in 180 countries at almost every price point, in every category to meet consumer demand.

    In this role you contribute to the company Supply Chain and Procurement ambition to deliver outstanding performance and growth for their 21 markets through world-class benchmark performance and best cost, driving value through exceptional market service and seamless relationships to enable new growth opportunities.

    You are responsible for

    • Optimize the Supply Chain KPIs by balancing Service (Case Fill Rate), Volumes & Inventory for the end to end network of your assigned market
    • Deliver against the secondary & stock in transit inventory targets for the assigned markets
    • Own, review and understand the demand signal (Shipment plan) for the full horizon and be an ambassador of market requirements within supply planning and operational teams
    • Lead the Market Supply Review for the assigned Market (key part of the S&OP process). Represent the supply centres providing overview of supply response to demand signal to deliver market sales ambitions
    • Own the supply network configuration for the assigned market and make sure that is appropriately reflected in the planning system (SAP APO)
    • Be the main point of contact between the supply centres and the Markets supply chain including external customers & the regional customer service teams. Lead the planning improvement agenda with the assigned market

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Bachelor/Master degree with affinity for Supply Chain Management
    • Preferably, 5 years of relevant work experience
    • Experience with SAP APO is an advantage
    • You are not afraid to make decisions. You are independent, hands-on and pro-active with excellent communication skills
    • You are energetic, ambitious, flexible and a team player
    • You are a process thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • You are fluent (verbally & in writing) in English
