What can you expect as a supply chain planner?
As part of the unit Aftermarket and industrial business for Life & Energy, your team is focused on innovations on the technology of the company. They bring the advanced automotive technology and systems into non-automotive industries to contribute to the environment and comfort daily life, for example robots in the agricultural sector.
Ofcourse there are a lot of products and parts that are attributed to this department. And your job will be to take care of the entire logistical process of these orders. The emphasis at this position is more on supply chain management (order and delivery) than on customer service. You guarantee a timely delivery of all products to the customer or other business locations! This means that you are responsible for the incoming and outgoing transport flows.Your supervisor is Dutch but you will work in an international team of at least 10 colleagues.
A summary of your new tasks
Customer service: you will have B2B client contact about the order process: whenever customers (companies) have requests of complaints you are their point of contact. This means for example: provide timely supply information, solve overdue orders, back orders or wrong deliveries. You will also be liaising between the customer and 3rd party manufacturers whenever necessary;
Administration: of course also part of the job, think about order input, invoicing and documentation;
Supply Chain & logistics: you are responsible for the procurement and with supervision you develop your skills on demand planning. Think about; analyzing and improving the supply chain processes, predicting future demand to prevent surplus and shortage or inventory management.

A professional level of the English language
You obtained a bachelor's degree in logistics management
A couple of years recent and relevant work experience in logistic order management in an international and product driven environment.
As a person you are able to deal with a fast pace environment, international colleagues and an indepedent and problem solving mind-set.
