    Strategic Business Analyst Public Affairs and Communications

    The unit "Public Affairs and Communications" is responsible for creating political and social support for TenneT's role, activities and position, and for linking employees to our common principles: Purpose, Promise and Principles.

    Duty station for this position can be Bayreuth, Arnhem or Berlin. This position is on a fulltime basis.

    Your contribution to TenneT

    As a strategic business analyst you will be responsible for the annual strategic planning for PUC and for developing, deploying and monitoring functional, cross border processes in a growing PUC organisation. In consultation with the PA & COMMS senior management you will develop a dashboard to track the progress the unit is making towards its defined kpi’s, objectives and key results. You will also manage the planning and monitoring of the annual budget process and coordinate the input for the quarterly reporting to the CEO. In your role you will also advise the Management Team on functional and organisational changes to improve the delivery and turn PUC into a result oriented operationally excellent unit.

    Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

    • You oversee the annual strategic planning process for PUC and monitor the implementation thereof and you maintain an overview of the overall PA & COMMS management agenda and provide updates on progress
    • You design the transformation and change process for PUC in line with responsible growth strategy of the organisation
    • You keep an overview of the budget and advice the PA & COMMS management and coordinate the budget planning process for the unit
    • You develop, together with the Director PA & COMMS and the MT, a dashboard for the PUC unit and coordinate the quarterly reporting
    • You coordinate input for large PA & COMMS tenders
    • You organize the regular PA & COMMS Management Team meetings and Leadership team meetings.
    The role can be based at any of the unit’s key locations (Arnhem, Bayreuth, Berlin) and reports to the Director PA & COMMS. Regular travel to all TenneT locations will be required.

    Your Profile and background

    • A relevant university degree (e.g. business or economics);
    • Strong project management, administrative, organizing and execution skills;
    • Affinity with Public Affairs and (Corporate) Communications
    • Reporting skills, ability to visualise the essentials crispy and clearly, confident with Powerpoint and Excel.
    • Committed team player, keeps well aware of the company strategy and the unit’s interests;
    • Language skills in English, Dutch and/or German, verbal and in writing

    • Salary : job level 9 - Euro 3.851 - 7.837 gross per month based on 40 hours per week (job level depending on knowledge and experience);
    • 43 vacation days;
