    SOC Subject Matter Expert

    The Role:

    As a SOC second line Engineer, you provide advanced support for our internal & external customers. In this role, you will join our Technology team. This team is Irdeto’s center of excellence for Technology Advancement, Innovation, IT, DevOps and Denuvo. We deliver outstanding service to our customers, both internal and external. We are dedicated to the lifecycle management of Irdeto’s products and services, and ensure our products operate flawlessly in the cloud.


    Your mission at Irdeto:

    • Provide Problem management and take appropriate measures to resolve the issue.
    • Maintain contact with the customer, our field experts, technicians, and other relevant parties.
    • Engage in periodic performance reporting and auditing of the SOC team based on key parametric and data centric criteria.
    • Provide administration and maintenance support for SOC tool suite (example: Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, VictorOps, etc.
    • Perform environment troubleshooting with SOC engineers to quickly resolve the issues.
    • Work on continuous improvement, development and maintenance of procedures and their documentation.
    • Work on continuous improvement initiatives (Automation) and lead in product onboarding, service transitions and projects.
    • This position will involve a weekly on-call routine for first-line assistance along with usual working hours.
    • Responsible for SOC 1st Line training and development. 2nd Line team will also be required to help arrange product/service training to keep up-to-date and current on what is supported.

    • Project & Problem Management experience will be advantageous.
    • You have (recently) completed a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or have some work experience in IT.
    • You have intermediate of Windows and Linux environments.
    • Prior working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS / Azure / Google etc.) is advantageous.
    • Good scripting experience in one of these languages is advantageous: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
    • Knowledge of FreshService or other ticketing system is beneficial.
    • Experience with Jira or other project and task management tools is beneficial.
