About the Role
The Uber Amsterdam Tech team is poised for substantial growth. Together, we are changing the face of transportation and logistics around the world, all from one of Europe’s most iconic cities! As we continue to strengthen our team, we are looking for an energetic, organized, and creative Site Program Coordinator.
In this unique role, you will enhance the Site Program Manager and Leadership team’s effectiveness by providing organizational support across various events and programs. Think innovative cultural and onboarding programs, office facilities, and employer branding initiatives - everything that will help us keep building on the best environment for our tech team.
What You'll Do
- Actively support and partner with the Amsterdam Site Program Manager in developing and driving site-wide initiatives for employees, new hires, visitors, and more.
- Organize and provide logistical support for various programs and events, including internal and external events, meetups, and team trips and outings.
- Collaborate with Tech Leadership, Facilities, Recruitment, and IT to continuously improve employee experience, create world-class events, and the positioning of our Tech brand to attract top talent.
- Create compelling communications to build excitement and engagement for programs and events through multiple channels.
- Provide assistance to tech employees by responding to questions and escalating issues as necessary.
- Processing, tracking, and managing of purchase orders and invoices on an occasional basis. Update site budget tracker accordingly.
- Offer support in meeting room bookings and catering requests.
- Manage vendor relationships and the tracking of site inventory.
What You'll Need
- 1-2 years experience with people, marketing, branding, communications, recruitment, or hospitality and events (ideally in tech).
- Written and verbal communication skills: You are well-spoken, eloquent in emails, and know how to tailor your communication style based on your audience.
- Administrative and organizational skills: You anticipate needs and have great follow-through on tasks. You don’t get overwhelmed easily.
- Attention to detail: You think of every last detail to ensure the success of events and programs.
- Motivated: You’re deeply driven, a self-starter, and proactively lean into fixing issues.
