    We are looking for a Segment Marketing Lead to join the Global Early Life Nutrition (ELN) Marketing team.
    This concerns a major, international player in the food industry with sales offices, dedicated research and production facilities for ingredients around the world in the Netherlands, Germany, the United States, Indonesia, China, Singapore, Japan, Brazil, Egypt, New Zealand and India.

    Your contribution is critical to the development of market leadership position in the Benefit Areas (Solutions & Explore) that we are developing to give infants a great start in life. As Segment Marketing Lead 'Solutions & Explore', you work in close collaboration with our B2B customers (Brand Owners) to deliver innovative ingredient solutions in the area of nutritional lipids (micro-encapsulation) and base powders for infant, young child and mum applications.

    You also play a role in shaping our ELN strategic direction by taking the lead in exploration projects & activities. With a scientific and consumer perspective in mind you aim to increase awareness of our solutions from pregnancy to childhood, especially around the role of unique dairy ingredients and our technology capabilities.

    In this position, you are responsible for:

    • Set strategy
    • Set Global strategy for Benefit Area (BA) Solutions & Explore within ELN. Based on market, consumer, customer, competitor and our company's capabilities
    • Implement BA Solutions & Explore strategy across the FCI-ELN organization
    • Actively interact and influence stakeholders from multiple disciplines on BA Solutions & Explore priorities and delivery thereof
    • Lead innovation delivery
    • Delivering on Innovation. Initiate, lead, drive and support innovation projects
    • Defining sound tactics on proposition, product portfolios, place (availability) and pricing
    • Active alignment with Sales, Development, Pricing and Product Management on innovation delivery
    • Regional marketing lead EMEA
    • Jointly set regional marketing & sales strategy for EMEA region with commercial colleagues in the region
    • Participate in the regional customer teams to drive customer connection and business
    • Marketing capability building (team coaching)
    • Provide guidance (what) to marketing team member supporting BA Solutions & Explore and coach (how)

    You will report to the Global Marketing Director Early Life and Cell Nutrition, with daily work coordinated and executed in close collaboration with the members of the segment marketing team. You also engage closely with the research, development and marketing communications teams.

    Profile

    To be successful in this position, you are/have:

    • 10y+ Marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment
    • Strong technical (science) background in Nutrition, preferably experience in the Infant Nutrition Industry
    • Analytical thinking with ability to process high complex commercial and stakeholder political settings / issues
    • Ability to translate data to insights to strong business strategies
    • Result oriented, creative with excellent problem solving
    • Excellent inter-personal communication skills; strong presentation skills
    • Experienced in creating impactful digital touch points in the customer journey from a marketing perspective
