    Sales Manager Cheese

    Within FrieslandCampina Professional we're looking for a Sales Manager Cheese to strengthen our team. You are a high performing sales professional experienced in the field of Global sales in a food/dairy environment. You are an outperformer and ready for a new and challenging assignment in a leading global company. You are excellent in relationship management in a complex environment and have a track record in growing/ developing a complex customer portfolio. Next to that, you are strong in price excellence and able to deal with volatile markets.


    What we ask

    • Bachelor / Master degree; MBA or Food technology is preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of work experience as a sales professional in an industrial global BtB food environment is a pre.
    • Able and willing to operate in a multi-disciplinary team.
    • Pro-active person and good listener to really understand customer needs with a proven track record.
    • Job requires strong entrepreneurial & commercial skills, winning mentality and agility
    • Job requires influencing skills in a multi-cultural, multi-country, multi-disciplinary environment
    • Fluent in Dutch and English language.

    Vacancy description

    As a Sales Manager for Cheese within FC Professional APAC you will co-develop and execute the commercial strategy of our operating company. Your responsibility is to achieve sales targets (volume, margin, product mix and customer portfolio growth). You will be managing existing customers in predominantly Japan & South Korea and you will be co-developing new RTM’s in SEA with a strong focus on QSR Pizza.
    Your customers are using our cheese as ingredient for food manufacturing (shredding, slicing, Pizza’s, or savory applications) to sell under their own or third party brands. You will fuel the growth ambitions we have for APAC.


    Sales strategy for own domain

    • Build and strengthen relations in order to realize commercial objectives
    • Maximize the value of our Cheese business externally, incl. forecasting of full portfolio to S&OP internally

    Strong focus on market knowledge and global developments (dairy and cheese), in order to operate pro-active and agile in a volatile market
    Price & negotiation excellence and ensuring that agreements are respected
    Work closely together with colleagues from several departments to translate customer requirements into optimized internal processes, in order to maintain a high customer satisfaction
