What does the ROLE entail?
Maintaining a strong authentic presence on the restaurant floor and overviewing the restaurant;
Leading and coaching the team towards exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results;
Coming up with creative suggestions and ideas;
Having thorough knowledge and understanding of all menu items, and the ability to recommend combinations and upsell alternatives;
Resolving complaints as appropriate, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction;
Ensuring that all restaurant associates are trained on all relevant tasks;
Participating in the recruitment of new restaurant employees;
Taking responsibility of resolving the discrepancy in beverage inventory and bill settlements.

You have 2+ years’ experience working an (Assistant) Restaurant Manager, preferably in a hotel;
You have a degree in Hospitality / Tourism, or equivalent on-the-job training;
You have great language and communication skills in English (and preferably in Dutch);
You are encouraging and reassuring, you are a team player and you are all about the team effort;
You have experience working with a POS system;
You have a flexible schedule, capable of working in evenings, weekends and/or holidays;
You are legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).
