Job responsibilities
In this position as a Research Technician, you will carry out protein and antibody characterization assays for Research and Development purposes. For this, you will be using a variety of techniques including SDS-Page, Capillary Electrophoresis (CE), HPLC and more.
The products you will be working with are diverse and the techniques and preparations for analyses therefor differ per product. This makes this a challenging position in which no two days are the same.
Beside carrying out the analysis of products, you are also responsible for protocol optimization and documentation work. This company aims for a long-term collaboration, providing sufficient possibilities for further growth within the company.
Who are we looking for?
For this position, we are looking for a Research Technician with the following background:
- Finished MSc or HLO degree (candidates that hold a PhD degree are overqualified for this job and will not be considered)
- 0-3 years of work experience
- Experience in at least 2 of the following techniques: SDS-Page, CE, HPLC, AAS
- Experience with proteins is necessary
- A good command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Analytical mindset and curious - you don't stop until you understand something in full
