    Research Associate, Protein Sample Management

    Genmab is focused on the creation and development of innovative and differentiated antibody products, with the aim of improving the lives of cancer patients.

    As Research Associate, Protein Sample Management you will be join a team responsible for reviewing bioanalytical data and batch release according to predefined test packages and batch specifications document.

    Your new role

    As Research Associate, Protein Sample Management you will be responsible for reviewing experiments of a wide range of modern biochemical techniques in several simultaneous projects. Furthermore, you will have the following priorities:

    • Shipping samples from and to external parties;

    • Reporting and releasing the batch to the inventory;

    • Maintaining the inventory and issuance of samples to the requesters;

    • Contributing to the optimization and innovation of our team;

    • Working closely with scientists and other research associates in multiple project teams.

    What we ask

    You are keen and motivated to use your up-to-date knowledge with biochemical techniques to strengthen our team. Are you also precise, accurate, with good communication skills? Then you might be our new team member in logistics and the documentation of the batches. You have a service-oriented attitude and can deal with changing priorities and unexpected workload.

    While being a true team player, you are also capable of working independently. Please read below if you have the knowledge and experience to fill the role of Research Associate, Protein Sample Management. You have:

    • A completed HLO education or equivalent or MLO with 3-5 years of work experience in the academical and/or biotechnology field. MSc degree holders are overqualified and will not be considered for the role;

    • At least 2 years of relevant work experience;

    • Knowledge of most commonly used biochemical analysis techniques like Capillary Electrophoresis and Analytical Chromatography;

    • Experience with software in automation and data handling;

    • Ability to work with tight deadlines and you can run several tasks in parallel and adjust priorities appropriately;

    • Motivation to deliver high-quality output and you are used to working according to a quality system;

    • Good relational and communication skills in English.
