    Research Associate, Cell Line Development

    Your role at Genmab

    Being responsible for the transfection, selection and printing of stable cell lines and preparation of cell banks. On behalf of our development organization for different projects and different purposes, your primary responsibility will be cell culturing of CHO cell lines, transfection of cells, printing cells for monoclonality and prepare cell banks and produce proteins. That is what it means to work as Research Associate, Cell Line Development at Genmab!

    We are currently in a growing phase with a knock your socks off pipeline with new products. That is where you come in and where you can help us realize our growth ambitions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • With your up-to-date knowledge of and experience in different cell culture techniques, you transfect, print, culture and bank cell lines for development purposes

    • With your team, you produce recombinant proteins

    • Document and process the results and report these to the team.

    • Contribute to the optimization and innovation of CHO cell culture processes

    What we ask

    This challenging position can fit you, if you have the knowledge and experience to fill the role of Research Associate, CLD. You have relevant experience and are highly motivated to culture cells and produce proteins. Taking initiatives, enjoy working in a team and inspire others with your enthusiasm. Off course, you are interested in creating more efficient ways of working in cell culture laboratories. More specifically, we ask the following of you:

    • A completed Bachelors in Life Sciences or equivalent

    • At least 2 years of work experience with various cell culture techniques including the culture of mammalian cells

    • An enthusiastic team player; you are flexible and capable of running several experiments in parallel

    • Recognize the importance of working according to the agreed development-based Quality System, which includes adhering to procedures and detailed documentation of your work

    • Interested in automation and like to contribute to the development of these processes
