    Relationship Manager

    You will work for the Merchant Services Global Business Line. This is a major international player in end-to-end Commercial Acquiring, Multichannel Payment Acceptance and Payment Terminal solutions. Merchant Services’ unique combination of payment, digital and transactional expertise allows merchants to boost sales and enhance the customer experience.

    They cover the full retail value chain, online and in-store, through a complete approach, delivering a real digital journey for retailers and their customers and facilitating consumer engagement, via seamless services, on any device – with payment at the heart of the shopping experience.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
    • You act as the main day to day point of oversight, supervision and co-ordination of activities relating to a designated portfolio of eRetail merchants.
    • You are responsible for the assigned retailers and their corresponding P&L and expected growth in a high-speed environment.
    • You engage merchants directly, involving them in a cohesive and ongoing dialogue relating to sales opportunities, customer relationship management, progress/status & performance reports and operational issues resolution.
    • You act as the point for issue escalation within the Merchants teams, responsible for issues assessment, identification of resolution options, impact evaluation, management information, tracking and resolution.
    • You liaise within colleagues at local, regional and group levels to ensure Customer commitments are achieved on time, to agreed standards and to the Customer’s expectations.
    • You initiate and manage meetings with a full range of merchant contacts working to the brief and plans of the Relationship Management Director, taking responsibility for ensuring meeting, call and contact reports are captured accurately, circulated and held within the CRM system.
    • You Compile management reports relating to Customer engagement, value and relationship progress using appropriate reporting systems

    Requirements

    Skills we can’t do without:
    • University/HBO degree Marketing/ Economics/Business Administrations
    • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in key sales activities
    • Experience in the Internet / e-commerce industry, experience with a PSP is a plus.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening and interpersonal skills
    • Strong Customer orientation and desire to achieve solid customer relationships
    • Ability to work autonomously
    • An ability to supervise and support the development of indirect staff
    • A strong team player with a positive attitude
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
    • Fluent in English
    • Willing to travel on average 1 or 2 days per week.
