    Regulatory Affairs Manager

    We are looking to hire a Regulatory Affairs Manager for our Infant Nutrition business in Europe and the Americas. This is a key position within our Specialized Nutrition (SN) Growth Market OpCo, working directly with the SN teams and 3rd party distributors operating in the markets, as well as different stakeholders at Corporate and at SN Business Group level.

    Given the broad geographical scope, this role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to engage with teams across the world on a daily basis: from Greece to Mexico, from Near East to the Baltics, Netherlands and more.

    What we ask

    To be successful in this position, you have/are:

    • 7+ years working in regulatory affairs for IFT / Food with proven track record in an international environment and ability to deliver high regulatory performance and compliance with distributors

    • Comfortable with handling complexity, including Regulatory Borderlines (i.e., Foods, FSMPs)

    • Ability to collaborate with Commercial, R&D functions, and Supply Chain

    • Know-how of organisation, role & responsibilities, policies and instructions related to regulatory affairs

    • Life Science University Degree/ Pharmacist; Master Degree or PhD is a plus.

    • Specialist knowledge in food/ dietetic regulations

    Vacancy description

    The main purpose of the role is to drive regulatory performance according to the business needs, assuring Friso compliance in the markets. This is achieved by:

    • Ensuring regulatory, safety and nutritional compliance for SN Products categories in each market

    • Supporting Managing Director and Central and Local Marketing Teams in assessing and managing regulatory risk pertaining to the development of product innovation and marketing campaigns (e.g., promotional materials)

    • Approving on-pack and off-pack communication on claims and logos

    • Driving consistent positioning and registration of new products in partnership with the markets

    • Mapping regulatory stakeholder networks and realizing adequate participation of SN managers and experts to drive advocacy and assure anticipation of changes in legislation

    • Collaborating with other colleagues in SN regulatory team and developing capabilities to maximize RA efficiency and reliability in the markets

    • Monitoring local and global SN/ IFT regulations and related changes, assessing their business impact for each country, setting action plans to maintain conditions for compliance of recipes, labels, advertising and websites, and aligning with teams in the countries (own and distributor) to execute
