Are you the kind of HR leader who drives continuous improvement within your workplaces, and who is constantly looking for ways to add commercial value to your companies? Are you someone who thrives on the variety of all-round generalist work whilst being a trusted business partner? Do you enjoy the challenges of juggling local and international work priorities?
We’re seeking this type of HR professional, to take on full functional accountability for a key manufacturing site in the beautiful Apeldoorn region of the Netherlands. Re-evaluation and re-imagining of the entire HR service model should be expected, as part of scaling up and modernising HR frameworks to help the site meet key growth objectives. And this person will have peers with similar challenges from other production sites globally so there will be plenty of options to consult and exchange ideas with, whilst leveraging resources and economies of scale.
Immediate projects to be owned by this leader include:
Maintaining effective stakeholder relationships based on partnership and proactivity.
Deployment and support of continuous improvement initiatives covering technology, manufacturing equipment and people investment (an understanding of Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma methodologies would be beneficial)
Alignment of local HR processes with international HR strategy (whilst also being a direct contributor to the wider commercial HR strategy for the company).
Workforce planning optimisation to maximise productivity, manage succession plans, and create effective knowledge transfer and pension management.
Creation of a long-term Talent Acquisition and Management strategy to recruit and retain employees.
Leadership development and coaching for all levels of management at this location given the range of existing tenure and skills.
The regional business leaders want this HR professional to be a key contributor within their management team, and to join them in being a visible presence on site. As a result, our hiring execs are keen to secure an HR Leader who is based within the greater Apeldoorn area - this is not a remote work arrangement but relocation support is on offer as part of the package for current EU citizens who offer fluent English and Dutch language skills.
With a base salary from EUR 90,000 (potential to increase depending on experience level) plus benefits, this role does require advanced knowledge of Dutch employment laws. An ambitious professional will have genuine opportunities for ongoing career development, progression and potentially increased regional scope responsibilities.
If this sounds like the challenge you've been seeking for your next career move, please do make contact directly and in confidence via firstname.lastname@example.org quoting CMTS00329. Interviews are being scheduled currently, with a view to an employment offer being extended in the coming weeks.
