    Recruiter international students

    The Staff Office Marketing and Communication is looking for a Recruiter international students (0.6 FTE).

    Hanze UAS is a knowledge institution working towards a sustainable world. We are helping to build a powerful region through research, education and innovation. Central to this is the learning community in which we, together with our students and various partners, actively work to solve societal issues in the region.
    The Marketing & Communication department develops, activates and monitors the Hanze brand. For this we offer insights, inspiration and tooling, so that together we get the job done. We support our colleagues, such as lecturers, researchers and professors, in independently communicating their message in an effective and creative way. We are, as a department, developing into a learning community in the field of marketing and communication, in which our professionals learn every day from recognizable processes with and from students, schools, research centres, and our environment.

    Your duties and responsibilities

    Your primary duty will be to recruit international students. The more you recruit, the better of course! However, we are looking for more than quantity alone. We want to attract students who are capable of completing their degree programme successfully and who know what they can expect when they start their studies. We work on the basis of an annual campaign plan, which is derived from our marketing strategy. This is the guideline for our recruiters, who create country plans for the countries they are responsible for. You will work on your own country plans and implement them with the help of your colleagues. This may involve (online) country-specific events, developing and maintaining ties with agents and intermediaries, and prospective students, as well as and shaping follow-up. Your activities will be backed up by our CRM system, which enables you to approach prospective students personally.

    Since the start of the pandemic, a lot of our recruitment work has been online, and this will continue to be the case in the near future. You will be hosting and participating in online events such as webinars, online fairs, information sessions, and such. You will be collaborating with your fellow recruiters, our communications officer, out international marketing advisor, schools, and our team of international students. The campaign coordinator is responsible for the campaign as a whole and will serve as your immediate sparring partner. You will report to the team manager of the Recruitment team.

    You have:
    • A bachelor’s degree
    • Experience with the recruitment of students
    • Affinity with systems and software such as CRM, excel, Marketing Automation
    • Experience with online platforms and online events
    • Experience with creating audience-based content.

    Your competences are:
    • Excellent command English and Dutch (speaking and writing)
    • Excellent communication skills, especially presentation skills
    • Sales skills.

    We offer

    A wonderful, exciting job within a department that is very much in development, right at the heart of applied higher education and research. You will get a temporary contract for one year, to fill in for a colleague. The position is account manager M&C in scale 10. Your salary depends on your background and experience and will amount to a gross minimum of € 2,652 and a gross maximum of € 4,307 per month based on a fulltime position.

    In addition, you will be entitled to holiday pay and a year-end bonus. Hanze UAS offers plenty of opportunities for further development in your field. Our Hanze PL Academy will facilitate and support you in this process.
