Description & Requirements
We are looking for an R&D Professional to make a difference in our future tomato portfolio by bringing innovative & pioneering technologies alive. To do so you will partner with our technology- consumer & sensory insights- and agriculture teams together with external partners to drive innovation within our Tomato portfolio across the International zone. We love tomatoes here at Kraft Heinz- and in this role you will be responsible for developing our tomato technology strategy and roadmap as well as developing and implementing innovative and ground-breaking technology with the focus of delivering improvements to Taste- Nutrition & Planet in our tomato category.
Drives Tomato technology expertise (product & process) in our key KHC categories- engaging internal and external partners.
Develops technology strategy & roadmap - short- mid and long-term- developing and implementing innovative & pioneering technology
Ensures technology learnings are shared and effectively transferred across the organization by developing & implementing "best-practices" around knowledge collection & transfer
Mentors & coaches’ product & process partners in tomato formulation & process optimization
Interprets competitive technologies through surveillance of patents and other publications
Develops and runs the resources & budgets for projects & platforms driving proper execution
Coordinates and collaborates with a network of external partners
Education & Experience
Tomato knowledge & experience in tomato processing- tomato science and tomato product development) preferred
Knowledge of the tomato industry (processors- research centers & institutes) helpful
MSc in Agronomy and/or Food Science and Technology
Knowledge of trial design- data management- data analysis & statistics
4+ years’ experience in food technology / R&D within the food FMCG sector
Demonstrate curiosity and passion for continuous improvement
Great teammate with a positive attitude. Ability to lead as well as collaborate.
Ability to deal with changes & working with multicultural teams
Strong interpersonal- communication and influencing skills are required
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in complex product development projects
