    Purchasing Practical Facilitator

    Who are we?

    Stenden Hospitality Group B.V. is an independent management training company for Stenden Hotel Management School located in both Leeuwarden and Emmen, The Netherlands. Stenden Hospitality Group is looking for a:

    PURCHASING PRACTICAL FACILITATOR 0.8 FTE/1.0 FTE

    (SHG) Stenden Hospitality group is the community of five business units and supporting services; Stenden Hotel (Leeuwarden), Restaurant Wannee (Leeuwarden), Restaurant Stones (Emmen), Meeting U (Leeuwarden) and Catering (Leeuwarden).     We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with extensive back of the house experience, preferably in a hotel environment. Our Back of the House department is divided in four units, you will be working in our Purchasing department where we ensure that all other operations within our learning company are well stocked and ready to serve all of our guests. You will be responsible for all purchasing using Birchstreet system to keep track of inventory and make sure that all administrative tasks will be fulfilled. Since our company has several business units providing food to all sorts of costumers in different locations, you will need to have a pro-active hand-on mentality and be able to keep a good overview and strong organizational skills. We seek an individual who will be responsible for supervising, guiding and training young professionals. Improving service by communicating and assisting young professionals to understand customer needs and providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed. Empowering students to provide excellent customer service and a great experience! We are looking for someone with bachelor degree in Hospitality Management or similar, minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant position, excellent knowledge of HACCP and ISO rules and regulations. Knowledge of working in an intercultural setting, excellent knowledge of the English language. Dutch language is a prerequisite.

    What we offer?

    SHG offers a salary for this position depending on relevant experience and education within the scale VII HORECA CAO per month for a full-time job. SHG also offers attractive terms and conditions including many opportunities in personal and career development, participation in collective health insurance and an employee vitality plan. The position is initially for a period of one year but can be extended after successful completion of this period. A one-month trial will also be considered. Commencement of duties per 1st of September 2022 is preferable.
