    Job Description:

    Responsible for purchasing products in assigned commodity codes within scope of company policy at best price, delivery and quality while maintaining inventory levels to targets. Accountable for the establishment and maintenance of Key metrics and performance measurements and is involved with project management of key products, programs, and/or suppliers. Ensuring a high level of communication between departments for the benefit of internal and external customers.

    In addition, the associate performs their duties in a manner that meets the company’s operating standards, compliance programs and quality requirements in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. The associate will support all site operations for Ormco and other future acquisitions.

    Essential Functions:

    • Responsible for planning systems and MRP (Material Replenishment Process) & PFEP concepts, such as time fences, demand input, consumption rules, (Average Monthly Usage (AMU) and projected balance calculations for 3PV suppliers and Marketing & Literature.
    • Monitor lead times and lot sizes. places purchase orders as per system requisition or per sales order, controls due dates and expedites/de-expedites product receipts as necessary.
    • Provides organization with accurate information regarding product availability, delivery dates and possible problem areas and drive solid Daily Management (DM)
    • Manage Item Master control and maintenance of key attributes for assigned product families Processes set-up request for new Suppliers per procedure and system requirements.
    • Process Product Service Reports (PSR), documents and coordinate returns/repairs to US and 3PV
    • Actively communicates with suppliers regarding product availability and delivery performance
    • Proposes improvements for material handling
    • Processes orders in compliance with ISO standards
    • Supports the administrative and maintenance handling of I-Buy activities.
    • P-Card administrator responsibilities, Load statements on monthly basis, follow up on unidentified payments, cards blocked and ad-hoc requests to increase credit limits
    • Actively supports other procurement & planning team members in their daily tasks including proposing improvements to Procurement and Planning concerning product availability within given inventory management guidelines.

    Job Requirements:

    Most Important Qualifications and Competencies:

    • MBO or higher is desirable Fluent in Dutch (mother tongue or comparable knowledge);
    • Proficiency in English with the ability to verbally communicate with other departments and suppliers.
    • Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems a plus
