Department: Production - Fiber-Line (location Drachten - on-site position)
Fiber-Line is an international player in synthetic fibers. Fiber-Line processes the fibers into finished products that you will find all over the world. We develop many products to measure, using different processes and machines. Fiber-Line has five production locations: Hickory, Hatfield, Shanghai, Leek (UK) and Leeuwarden. Starting in September 2022, we will move from Leeuwarden to Drachten. At our new location Fiber-Line wants to and can grow into the global market leader in tailor-made and coated synthetic fibers.

Job Summary and Essential Functions
As a production operator you are an important associate within Fiber-Line. You ensure that our yarns are actually processed into finished products. The processing is done on different machines, including machines for coating, twisting and over-winding yarn. During your shift, you are responsible for the machines. You ensure that all planned orders are processed on those machines. For this you set up the equipment properly, make sure it is operated correctly and check the yarn during and after the process. You make sure that the machines run as much as possible, which requires good planning. We work in 3 shifts. For a week you will work morning, afternoon or night shifts. You will work from Monday to Friday. Your team consists of 5 colleagues. You demonstrates teamwork in all phases of operation and follow all rules, laws and procedures related to HS&E, ISO and other regulations.
