    Production Director

    Role & Key Responsibilities

    Reporting to the COO, the Production Director overseas and manages the organisation, infrastructure, processes and systems of Ausnutria production entities in line with Ausnutria's Corporate Standards and Operations Strategy, to strive for Operational Excellence and delivery of products that meet customer requirements.

    Key Accountabilities

    Strategy & Policy, contributes to the development of Ausnutria's Corporate Standards and Operations Strategy and translates the Corporate Standards and the Operations Strategy into a strategy for the production organization in cooperation with different stakeholders.

    People Management, manages members of the production management team and ensures recruitment, retention, performance management, coaching and development of employees, in line with Ausnutria’s Human Resources Policy and Operations Strategy.

    Stakeholder Management, develops and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders and regularly coordinates with stakeholders at production plants and in QHSE, EPC, Technology, Supply Chain and Procurement for production purposes.

    Optimization & Change, analyses all production processes within the value chain, add customer value signals improvements, develops and implements plans and leads the change to ensure continuous optimisation of the production process, in line with The Ausnutria and Operations strategy.

    Support, provides daily support to local plant management teams, resolves conflicts, troubleshoots production issues and acts as a linking pin between production entities, in line with QHSE and technology policy.

    Reporting & Advice, advices directors and other stakeholders on developments in production department, acts as a first point of contact for production related queries and initiates and prepares reports on all activities within production entities and takes timely corrective action when required.

    Professional Experience / Qualifications

    University degree and minimum of 10+ years'experience with World Class Manufacturing in food processing, automotive or electronics industry is a preference.
    Reviewing, designing and implementing operational processes across manufacturing functional areas in order to achieve targeted objectives for safe, risk based and cost-efficient operations processes.
    Expertise in modern production technology and logistics concepts (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Autonomous teams World Class Manufacturing etc).
    Experience in changing a reactive oriented organizations to proactive oriented
    Experience in developing change management processes and tools to support the integration and engagement with change management principles.
    Proven experience of successfully leading the development of strategy and business plans.
    Must have demonstrated problem-solving skills, proven innovation and creativity.
    Proven skills in motivating and inspiring others; attracting, developing and retaining talent and building a pipeline for succession. Demonstrated skills in coaching and mentoring to achieve performance and potential.
