By forming a new team dedicated to outbound product management and strategy, Rapyd seeks to increase the fit and adoption of its current and future portfolio of products.

    As an Outbound PM (OPM) on this new team, your mission is to identify the right opportunities and build the right products as we seek to reach new customers and create more value to our ecosystem. Through the creation of an outbound PM process, you will enhance the company’s success at turning business objectives into actionable product plans and roadmaps that accelerate value creation for our customers while also “looking around the corner” at where Rapyd will go next.


    As an Outbound Product Manager, you will:

    • Engage with and evaluate the needs of our customers, internal stakeholders and partners to discover important problems and opportunities that can be translated into the right, compelling products and features
    • Write opportunity assessments and business requirement documents that improve the company’s strategic decision making and execution
    • Effectively and quickly assess new opportunities from as little as a pitch deck or set of API docs
    • Partner with (Inbound) Product Managers, Marketing and Sales to identify and create value streams across Rapyd’s current portfolio of products and services
    • Create and maintain a high level business strategy roadmap through meaningful collaboration and ruthless prioritization
    • Lead new product discovery initiatives and deliver insights to executive leadership
    • Collaborate closely with business and product line teams in go-to-market execution
    • Create and maintain competitive overviews to summarize the fintech industry landscape
    • Provide demos to and gather feedback from key customers and stakeholders for new product launches and features
    • Conduct product roadmap reviews and Q&A sessions with our field teams, leadership and other stakeholders

    Requirements:
    • 7+ years in product management, including at least 2 years of experience in the fintech industry
    • 3+ years in consulting (M&A, strategy, management or payment)
    • Demonstrated success defining and shipping products in an iterative manner, focused on maximizing customer and business value
    • Ability to perform product due diligence on a variety of partnership opportunities
    • Experience cannibalizing old products with new products
    • Deep knowledge of the global fintech ecosystem with unending curiosity and desire to grow Rapyd’s global impact
    • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities; ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to internal and external audiences
    • Excellent research capabilities using the right methodologies
    • Quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen
    • Seasoned ability to apply lean principles and drive decisions with incomplete or imperfect information
    • Experience shifting priorities, while maintaining organization and control
    • Proven track-record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results
    • Enjoy working with cross-cultural, cross-functional teams, and collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders, including sales, partnerships, and marketing
    • Ability to travel globally for 2-3 days at a time, and up to 20% overall
    • Fluency in English and another Top 10 spoken language (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish)
