What is your purpose?
As Product Marketer, you help shape buyer journeys for Tovertafel and its purposefully playful gaming content. This role is equal parts rewarding and challenging. As for the rewarding part: you contribute to our growth while enchanting the lives of end-users and their carers. The challenge stems from the psychologising nature of the role: we don’t sell directly to our players, so you need to identify, target and convince ‘the middle(wo)men’: decision-makers at care facilities and educational institutions. Who has the final say on purchasing decisions? And why should they invest their limited budget in our products?
This means you need to be versed in creating and catering to distinct buyer personas. You should also be able to convincingly frame and explain how our products supplement existing care or educational portfolios. Sometimes that requires elucidating claims by presenting relevant and independently validated facts and figures. Other times you need to explain technical aspects, so tech-savviness is an asset. Of note: this is a strategic role. You need to define and play the field, target the right buyers and influencers (e.g., academics), and deliver the product marketing goods. This includes co-creating papers, pitch decks, digital assets, datasheets, brochures, et cetera. We also expect you to conduct market analyses (largely) autonomously, devise product marketing strategies, select the right price points, and fuel demand generation campaigns.

You develop a keen understanding of buyer personas and come up with out-of-the-box ideas to engage key decision-makers.
You deliver the right message to the right persona: messages that substantiate our claims, help go-to-market teams, and boost demand generation programmes.
You continuously enrich our propositions by developing marketing materials.
You monitor and analyse the fluid market landscape – including competitors – to help form and optimise our strategy, positioning, and messaging.
You (virtually, for now) snuggle up to colleagues in product development and product management to share and develop plans and insights.
What you bring to the Tovertafel
3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in tech-related domains.
Your track record puts a spell on us: strategising, positioning, and creating compelling content make you tick like a Patek.
You are highly inquisitive, and always in the know, thanks to your market research and data analysis prowess.
If you consider CRM, HubSpot and Google Search Console homes away from home, we will rent a magic carpet to fly you in.
You are fluent in English. If you know that bitter balls aren’t bitter, that would help!
You’re a self-starter who embraces autonomy and also shines in a team setting.
