We’re in need of a self-starter with a balance of both analytical and creative skills to take charge of user acquisition and retention initiatives. You will be an integral part of our close-knit marketing team, and you will work alongside our design and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the user experience, interaction design and visual design of the product
• Partner with PMs to brainstorm new ideas and work through the details of new and existing products and features
• Generate comprehensive information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, data visualizations and interactive prototypes
• Solicit field and customer input, feedback and validation for new features and major enhancements and rapidly iterate
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible and are well implemented
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to launch new products/enhancements by providing mockups of features/product to be developed
• Be a strong and thoughtful voice for our users
• Evangelize user-centered design

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Take pride in the craft of building products
• Push the boundaries of UX/UI/Visual and rapidly try and test new ideas
• Equally comfortable exploring new big ideas with PMs/Users and going deep into details of visual and interaction design with PMs/Engineering
• More empathy and less ego to ship the best idea and not your idea
• Obsessed about reducing complexity and love for simple and elegant
• Deep intuition for usability
• Good instincts to apply the right visualization for the right data
• Sharp eye for detail
• Clear communicator with the ability to talk about your designs with users and to advocate your direction with the product and engineering teams

Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of applied UX/UI design experience
• A great portfolio that showcases deep visual and interaction design skills
• A track record in delivering major product enhancements on a core product (i.e., a product that is a primary source of revenue)
• Preferably experience in B2B software products
• Preferably experience with analytics and large data visualization based solutions
• BA/BS in fine arts, graphic arts, human factors or related field
