    Product Brand Manager L’Oréal Paris Skincare

    For our Benelux Consumer Products Division (CPD) we are looking for a marketing talent with 4-6 years of experience

    Who I am?
    For our Consumer Products Division (CPD) we are looking for a talented marketeer who will join our Skincare team in the position of Product Brand Manager for L’Oréal Paris. You are part of a multidisciplinary marketing team and within it, you are the ‘Brand Champion’. You will be the expert of your consumers, the brand strategy and the budget choices, all to maximize market share and enhance the brands equity. In short, you are accountable for driving and implementing the 360 strategy for the Benelux. For this role you must be firm in your beliefs, result-driven and you will need strong communication skills to win trust. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of challenges and can bring change.
    In this role, you report into the Business Leader Skincare and will manage, develop and enable one (Junior) Product Brand Manager that reports directly to you.

    My responsibilities
    The Product Brand Manager has a very diverse set of tasks, consisting of:
    • Own and drive category consumer insights (social listening, studies, etc.)
    • Observe and analyze competitor behavior and market trends
    • Sell-Out analysis and recommendations
    Portfolio management
    • Product vision, strategy, and growth plan
    • Define launch calendar
    • Launch dimensioning, price positioning, financial equation
    • Revenue Growth Management topics to define right pricing strategy and launches.
    360 Lead
    • Ensure strong marketing plan with a 360 approach to brand expression and execution across channels on- & offline
    • Roll out the right tailor-made media strategy; to reach consumers on the right touchpoint.
    • Drive and implement the 360 implementations projects with the right stakeholders
    • Budget responsible – mainly production costs for media campaigns.
    Brand equity
    • Own brand identity/DNA
    • Guardian of the product/axe/brand expression on-&off-line: ward for consistency in all touchpoints: artworks, claim validation, model rights, ect.

    People development
    • Develop a talented marketer who will report to you and will develop dedicated campaigns

    You will work with
    The Retail Brand Manager, who translate brand plans into retailer plans.
    The Marketing Coordinator. This colleague provides marketing support in, for example, setting up events, creating POS, etc.
    A Media Bureau (external)
    A Marketing Agency (external)
    Our own Media Manager and other digital specialists from our multidisciplinary CMO team.
    The Brand Business Leader you report to and the (Junior) Product Brand Manager in your team.

    Our ideal candidate has
    • Obtained a Master degree, preferably in a relevant field
    • At least 4-6 years experience in product management or trade marketing
    • Fluent in English and Dutch in speaking and writing (this is a must-have!)
    • Experience with fast and effective internal and external stakeholder management
    • A broad understanding of FMCG such as Brand management, Digital, Category Management, E-Commerce and Sales.
