    The Job

    WarnerMedia produces local language unscripted content for HBO Max across EMEA, covering a range of unscripted genres.

    We are seeking an experienced Producer for our Unscripted Originals team. Reporting to the Head of Original Unscripted Production, EMEA, the Producer will work collaboratively to support the production of local, HBO Max-appropriate unscripted projects suitable for release on the HBO Max service across EMEA. You will leverage your experience as a producer in both development and production, along with a knowledge of the creative and business issues involved in bringing projects from idea to launch. Interacting with key stakeholders internally and externally during the process.

    The job will require regular international travel when possible.

    The Daily

    • Work with the Head of Unscripted Original Production, EMEA, to oversee the development, pre-production and production of unscripted originals across EMEA.

    • Manage Multi territory productions across the EMEA footprint working closely with the local teams and producers.

    • Attend business, development and production meetings as required.

    • Support and coach productions in the creative process at all stages – ensuring the quality and vision of the projects and the HBO Max brand - for both paper formats and existing formats.

    • Review and advice local OP teams on (multi territory - hub) production budgets.

    • Building strong relationships of trust with producers & local HBO Max teams across EMEA

    • Review and advice on Line Ups/Breakdowns from both an editorial and productional point of view

    • Keeping relevant stakeholders up to date on ongoing productions, flagging potential problems and creating clear overviews of multiple productions.

    The Essentials

    • Extensive experience working in unscripted production – preferably as an (executive) producer, head of production, or similar position.

    • Vast experience from working with productions, production companies and/or broadcasters.

    • Great communication skills – externally with the production companies and internally with local OP teams to ensure clear communication lines and feedback processes.

    • Experience working on paper formats; from development to completion and existing 3rd party formats

    • The ability to handle a fast-paced environment simultaneously supervising several projects in various points of production

    • Editorial experience evaluating and/ or creating successful format, episodical and series structures.

    • Knowledge of the international marketplace

    • Fluent or near fluent English
