    Procurement Manager, Tender & Construction Phase (Hotels & Hospitality) – Amsterdam– up to €48,000

    Position- Procurement Manager

    Salary- €42,000 - €48,000 (depending on experience)

    Location- Amsterdam

    About the Company

    My client is an influential and dynamic business that focuses on Hotel renovations, however, they are also involved in hospitality development, taking care of the projects from the beginning to the end (concept acceptance, purchase and construction). They are responsible for having delivered some of Europe´s top hotels.

    They are looking for a Purchasing Manager with experience in the Hospitality Industry, specifically in pre and construction phases. The ideal candidate should know about floors, walls, furniture, lighting, textiles, electrical and hardware materials.

    Main tasks

    • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies
    • Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff and allocating tasks
    • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines etc
    • Maintaining supplier database, purchase records and related documentation
    • Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs
    • Assisting with the development of budgets for projects
    • Assisting Head of Procurement with Tenders and RFQs preparation
    • Assigning purchasing tasks to team members
    • Expanding the current network of manufacturer and suppliers

    Experience needed

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum of 3 Years Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
    • Speaks English fluently. Other languages will be an asset such as Mandarin & Turkish
    • Working knowledge of ERP Software and the management of same
    • Excellent communications skills both written and oral
    • Strong critical thinking and negotiating skills
    • Knowledge and experience with purchasing materials for the construction phase is a must
