    As Global Network organisation we have a small Head Office in Hoofddorp where a few central functions on behalf of the business units are performed with around 150 employees. For more information we kindly refer to our global website: .

    One of the teams based in the Head Office is the Global Procurement Team. This team plays an important role in SHV Energy business, and they are responsible for indirect procurement strategy and processes involved in the acquisition of goods and services to the business in a sustainable and financially viable way. To achieve this, the team started the digital transformation journey to become a data-driven function. Data Management is one of the key elements to enable this exciting journey. Currently, we have more than 10 Business Units which have their own ERP systems in place. The challenge is to make sure the data is consistent and transparent across the whole organization.

    What you will do

    • Support the Procurement Data Manager in Hoofddorp with the various tasks and projects
    • Support spend data quality campaign across global procurement community by collecting feedbacks from Business Units and conducting discrepancy analysis between Procurement Data Warehouse and ERP/ Finance systems
    • Assist with creating a troubleshooting process to identify the cause of spend data quality problems. Incl. what are the symptoms of the problem? Where and when does the problem occur? Can the problem be reproduced? How to prevent the problem in the future?
    • Validate, interpret and present data quality results to stakeholders

    We are looking for

    • An HBO (bachelor) student, studying Math, Computer Science, Business Analytics or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, PowerBI, SQL, R, Python, tableau, etc.
    • Strong communication skills. Good English language communication (oral and writing) as you will directly be in contact with stakeholders around the world.
    • Available 4-5 days per week for a period of 3 months, with possibility to extend (one day in the office and other hours from home).
