    Pricing and Partnerships Intern

    Your challenge

    As an Intern, you would be part of an international and dynamic team that is responsible for the management and marketing of the Eurail and Interrail Passes worldwide. As part of the Customer Value Team, you would be helping to facilitate the development and life-cycle management of Passes for travel all over Europe with a focus on two specific areas: Pricing strategy and Partnerships management. Within our Marketing Department you’ll be given responsibilities from day one.

    • Assist with research and analysis on pricing related tasks, such as industry benchmark, competitor analysis, pricing strategy, etc.
    • Assist with research and analysis on pricing related projects using travel behaviour data
    • Support with the pricing projects and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
    • Assist with the execution and refinement of the Partnerships strategy and approach
    • Support with Partnerships stakeholder management; Partnership offer communication across multiple channels; Ancillary reporting etc.
    • Collaborate with different departments to support the implementation of new strategies or projects.
    • Support the other ad-hoc tasks or projects within customer value team.

    Boxes to tick

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in marketing, international business, economics, management, research or in similar field
    • You can start in January/February 2022
    • You are enrolled at a University during the whole internship period, or you hold a search year visa
    • Previous work and/or internship experience is preferred (Experience in marketing or tourism industry is an advantage but not required)
    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) is required.
    • Must be detail-oriented, well organized and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Very strong analytical skills
    • Ability to multitask, a flexible attitude to work and strong prioritisation skills.
    • Team player with a positive, hard-working “can-do” attitude
    • Self-initiative and creativity.
    • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset is a plus.
    • Strategic mindset is a good to have.
    • Familiar with Agile way of working is a plus.
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal is essential. Fluency in other languages is an advantage.
