What is the Work:
The (pre) sales manager defines sales strategy and plays a key role in the success and failure of the organization. He/Shen is a selfstarter
to identify business opportunities, and plays a pivotal role in achieving the sales targets and eventually generates revenue for
the organization. He or she is responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and
budgeting. Lead the Sales Team to generate leads, hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.
- Define sales strategy and identify business opportunities
- Build and maintaining client relations
- Be customer centric; understand customer’s needs and expectations
- Work with internal departments such as the Marketing/BD and Product teams to engage audiences and clients more deeply
- Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets
- Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition
- Follow organisational policies and regulations that affect the Sales department
- Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
- Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
- Be a brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times
- Represent the company in a professional manner and build good relationships with clients to the company’s benefit
- To advise on bid / no bid decisions based on commercial considerations
- Generate leads, and build and nurture client relationships
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationship
Who You Are:
Education and Work Experience:
Required
- Proven track record in ERP Sales with one or more vendors: Oracle, SAP, Microsoft
- Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
- 1+ years of experience as (pre)sales manager
- Proven track record of positive sales performance
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creating and implementing a sales plan
- Meeting sales goals by monitoring progress
- Analyzing sales data
- Presentation skills
- Management and leadership skills
- Developing budgets
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in working in a team in a distributed model across multiple projects
- Willing to travel and work internationally through Europe (once a while in China)
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or above in marketing or business administration
- Development/Consulting experience with Oracle, SAP and/or Microsoft is a plus Specific Knowledge & Skills
- Enjoy international (Dutch, German, Chinese mostly) team and working environment
- Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations
- Flexibility and the ability to think on their feet is essential
- Executive Presentation skills
- Speaking and writing fluently in English and Chinese is must
