    Paralegal – Legal Ops Support

    The Role:

    As part of this team, you will report to the Head of Legal Operations and Programs, thus at the forefront of helping Irdeto’s Legal Department drive fast-moving strategic priorities, tackle operational challenges, and enable growth and innovation.

    Your mission at Irdeto:

    • Assisting in the configuration and management of the Legal Department’s technology solutions and related processes, including contract management workflow and database, billing, document and matter management, data privacy platform, risk management platform, and Intranet systems and websites in order to drive efficiency, collaboration, and departmental alignment.
    • Implement Legal Department’s operational and strategic plans in partnership with the department’s leaders supporting the department’s strategies and mission (and in line with company objectives), and further execute process improvements to focus the department on high value and high impact work.
    • Assisting department with contractual documentation gathering, transactional management with cross-department commercial teams, and standard contractual drafting requests (evaluation agreements, amendments, renewals or otherwise based on standard templates).
    • Managing global NDA processing and improving the information flow to outside counsel for transactional support.
    • Support department in:
      • Managing templates and contractual workflow tool (called KIM).
      • Organizing signatures of contractual and corporate documentation.
      • Managing internal-facing and company-facing SharePoint sites for all department programs.
      • Helping administer projects being run by department as they may arise.
      • Other support requests common within a legal department for an international enterprise.
    • Ability to travel as needed.

    How you can add value to the team?

    • Experience in the areas of contractual drafting, contract management, legal operations, sales operations, or legal department program support, preferably in a global enterprise or law firm environment.
    • Able to collect, structure, analyze and present data.
    • Demonstrated business and financial acumen and ability to utilize sound business judgment in providing actionable legal and strategic solutions.
    • Education: Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or relevant experience in role.
    • Experience with strategic planning, outside counsel management, staff personnel support, and systems implementation and management.
    • Experience working with outside counsel, running RFP (or similar) process to optimize value, reduce costs and increase quality.
    • Knowledge of and experience with contract systems (CLM, workflow, signing) and knowledge management systems. Experience with Office365 Applications and core legal department systems such as billing, document management, contract management and workflow tools, risk management platforms, IP and data privacy management, and the like is preferred.
    • Very strong organizational and project management skills. Capable of handling multiple projects initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion.
    • Experience in employment law and corporate investment activities (such as M&A, joint ventures, divestitures, and the like) preferred, but not necessary.

    • A willingness to learn on the job and develop new skills
    • Independent thinking and working capabilities.
    • Analytically precise. Able to perform and deliver consistently trustable, precise and actionable quantitative and qualitative analyses.
    • Highly organized and high degree of accountability. Working efficiently is key and you know how to organize yourself and find value in helping others do the same.
    • An appropriate amount of grit and creativeness along with an appropriate sense of humor!
