    Our Commercial Operations Department

    We are a team of operations experts who build capabilities empowering Commercial teams to deliver upon business goals. Our vision: robust Commercial capabilities driving growth in a multi-billion euro business. Our mission: operational excellence across everything we do.

    Our team is split across 5 pillars, including the Curation Operations, each with its own vision, strategy & roadmap. The Curation Operations team establishes the best capabilities to curate our weekly and bi-weekly auctions ensuring smooth tooling and processes.

    A real 'spider in the web', the Commercial Operations team is a key player between Commercial teams, Product, Finance, Legal, HR and ensures Catawiki is set up for success.

    What you will do

    Catawiki is a fast growing organization, and changes to our product and workflows are part of our continuous improvement efforts. As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for operationalising Curation efficacy & efficiency opportunities by driving process and tooling adoption among category teams. You collaborate closely with our category and Tech Product teams and are on top of any new developments, and understand the implications for our Expert teams. You translate changes into new procedures, and together with the Training Manager, you make sure that all category teams are kept up-to-date, and understand what they are supposed to do. You help set up a good reporting system that provides clear insights into the performance and efficiency of our Curation workflows.

    You will regularly engage with Category stakeholders to understand their needs so that you will be able to deliver on them. You will also ensure that excellent information flow and feedback on impacts of process, policy and product changes is regularly shared with the relevant stakeholders.

    Tasks and responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Category management & ComOps Training to establish a plan of action to ensure consistent knowledge and workflow adoption among all Expert teams;
    • Write & maintain curation process documentation, incl. How-to's, training guides;
    • Engage with Product and Category teams to test and coordinate the implementation new Curation functionality and workflows;
    • Liaise with Category teams to maintain Curation tooling settings;
    • Implement appropriate control plans to monitor the impact of implemented changes on our main KPIs;
    • Manage an effective feedback loop between categories, Commercial Operations and Product to help optimise curation workflows/ tooling;
    • Establish relationships with other internal stakeholders throughout the organisation to ensure excellent information flow and feedback on impacts of process, policy and product changes;
    • Evaluate process data insights to identify impactful curation efficiency opportunities for category teams. Provide guidance for category management and drive respective goals;

    Play an active role in developing a QA framework, including processes and reporting tools that help category teams track quality, monitor and ensure consistent curation in line with our quality guidelines.

    Who you are

    • 5 years relevant experience in a fast-paced tech environment;
    • Proven track record in managing process improvement projects from a to z;
    • Track record in driving workflow adoption among operational teams;
    • Self-starter driven by results with the ability to multitask. Strong initiative & ability to work in a self-directed environment with a "can do" demeanor;
    • Systems & process-oriented mindset, easily able to self-onboard to new tools & understand how different systems work together;
    • Structured and methodical way of working while being able to keep a helicopter view;
    • Strong analytical skills; able to tell a story with data and metrics;
    • Great communicator with the ability to work with, influence, and align with multiple stakeholders, getting things done;
    • Taking ownership and proactively driving partnerships with stakeholders;
    • Ability to communicate timely, effectively & clearly with various stakeholders;
    • You are comfortable dealing with high work pressure and able to prioritize;
    • You are agile and innovative; You seek continuous feedback and input;.
    • BA or BS degree in the fields of business administration or process management.

    Our offices and new way of working

    Catawiki is embracing an activity-based way of working, meaning employees are empowered to choose how they split their work week between the office and home. Most team members based in countries with Catawiki offices will collaborate from the office two days a week, and work remotely for the rest.

    Our experts and sales staff in our local markets work 100% remotely – in most cases from their home offices. We also hire several other key positions remotely. We offer relocation services for new colleagues who need to work office-based.
