About the job
As Operations Controller / Business Analyst you are part of a high-performing Business Control team based in Amersfoort (The Netherlands) and Stavanger (Norway), and you will report to the Director Business Control.
In the Operations Controller role, you will be working closely with the Finance Business Partner Operations & Procurement and the Nutreco Operations team. You will be responsible for setting up the performance measurement reporting for all Nutreco operations entities and participate in strategically important projects such as Operational Excellence and Integrated Business Planning.
You are at ease with large data sets, can present data in an organized way and are eager to improve current performance reporting. You link easily with multiple stakeholders within and outside of finance throughout the various organizational levels to drive our strategic ambitions and continuously improve the efficiency of our Operations.
Next to this, you will be acting as overall business analyst for the Business Control team, supporting various business related projects and/or reporting, such as reviews of country performance through reliable reports, but also support in dealing with ad-hoc requests and providing insights and analyses for Nutreco management board and SHV.

What you bring
You have a relevant Academic degree and/or masters in a finance related study;
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Operations control, Business Control, Audit or Adivsory within a dynamic global business environment;
You are an independent self starter, but also team player with a willingness to bring the team to the next level;
You have strong analytical skills and can communicate financial/operational results in an understandable way to the business;
You are analytically strong and are comfortable using reporting and analysis tools like Excel, power-point or PowerBi;
You have excellent communication skills and are able to effectively work in cross functional teams through different organizational levels;
Knowledge of Operational Excellence and/or Integrated Business Planning (S&OP) topics is useful, though not required;
You are fuent in English, both verbally and in writing.
