    What you will do

    As our Office Manager, you like to think ahead and solve problems independently. We are looking for an Office Manager who is passionate about making our Tiqeteers happy, and to welcome our guests with a smile.

    You're the one who keeps the office rolling – the person that simply can't be missed. You're available to be present in-person every day, keeping the office a great place to work (and yes, styling, watering the plants and cleaning the coffee machine is all in a day's work).

    Tiqets’ hybride working model gives Tiqeteers the flexibility to work from home (or even abroad), but we also stimulate people to come to the office to keep the interaction that’s part of our culture. Most people spend 50% of their time in the office, which means that we have about 60 people on average per day in the Amsterdam office (two floors of 1200m² each). It’s the responsibility of the Office Manager to keep the office a safe and fun place to be.

    As an Office Manager, you also manage our external clients, partners, and suppliers (e.g., housekeepers and landlord), and part of your daily tasks is to order food and beverages (and fruit!), and be the contact person for our lunch caterers.

    Additionally, you manage all facilities in and around the office and are responsible for Asset Management. This includes maintaining an up-to-date floor plan, including desks & chair management, as well as the keytags and onboarding packages for new Tiqeteers. You will also be responsible for arranging all packages and mail, and provide support to the various teams with onboarding and offboarding people. The Office Manager is also responsible for all BHV activities together with the lead BHV.

    Due to the fact that we use our office a bit differently than before, we have some other projects in place for the upcoming months for you, so you definitely will not be bored! You'll report to the Talent & Engagement Manager and work very closely with your colleagues in the People & Culture team, the department heads, and your colleagues in IT Support.

    Responsibilities

    • Welcoming all our guests and making them feel comfortable (when this is possible again)
    • Making sure our office is clean, well organized and a great place to work
    • Ensuring that the ordering of stationery and equipment is made on-time
    • Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs
      Asset-management and arranging all mail-related matters
    • Manage office related suppliers, partners and clients.
    • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties and celebrations

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
    • A good sense of humor and the ability to adapt to different cultural backgrounds (we have more than 35 different nationalities within Tiqets!)
    • A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements
    • Ability to communicate positively and effectively with internal clients and external visitors/contacts
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to an ever-changing environment
    • A skilled organizer and planner and independent worker
    • Living in the Netherlands
