    Office Manager, Amsterdam

    We're experiencing incredible levels of internal growth at Acre and it's happening thick and fast. As you'd expect in those circumstances, we're working hard to ensure that each of our global offices are well equipped to keep up. In our Amsterdam office, we have a small but mighty team that's growing fast and we need someone to take charge of their processes to make things run as smoothly as possible.

    Firstly, we're a global recruitment business operating in the sustainability and climate change sectors. I'm sure this explains a little about why we're so busy - everyone is looking to tackle these problems head-on right now, but also need a recruitment partner that's well versed in these markets.Fortunately, we've been doing this a long time - over 18 years ago. We're headquartered in London, and opened an office in New York in 2019 and in Amsterdam at the start of 2020. We have a hybrid working model: partially based from home and partially from the office.

    Now if you were to join us as an Office Manager in our Amsterdam office, what might the role look like on the day to day?

    You'll support your colleagues, which includes;

    • Providing support as and when necessary to team members - including scheduling meetings, coordinating diaries, procuring reports, taking minutes, championing our CRM system, creating invoices
    • Managing Acre's internal HR system, including annual leave, internal recruitment and document storage
    • Supporting Acre's marketing team with the organization of external events
    • Supporting Acre's Finance team, including credit control and new supplier setup

    You'll make sure Acre is a great place to work. You'll;

    • Coordinate operational projects - for example, ergonomics and office setups
    • Coordinate internal events, such as celebrations and business forums
    • Contribute to relevant projects, such as wellbeing strategy, incentives and team engagement
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new team members - including the preparation of contracts, the coordination of training and technology set-up

    You'll provide 'go-to' office support. This includes;

    • Relationship management with a range of suppliers, including Acre's Amsterdam office space
    • Supporting with the identification and procurement of technology to help drive the team's success
    • Updating Acre's policies, procedures and guidance as and when needed
