About the Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Nutritionist Continental Europe to make a difference in our R&D organization in Kraft Heinz! This position lies within the Continental Europe R&D team and acts as a bridge between R&D and the Commercial Business Unit. The expectation of the role is to be the voice of Nutrition within and won the agenda for the CE business unit.
The R&D Technologist is responsible for:
Develop the Nutrition strategy
Develop compelling nutrition and health communication- also translated into claim & benefits strategies for the different product categories- including infant nutrition
Translate current dietary guidance and nutrition science into benefit communication across the BU product portfolio through strong collaboration with marketing- sales- regulatory and legal
Contribute to nutrition research related initiatives including research related to infant nutrition
Drive the ESG agenda
Ensure data consistency and high quality to track and trace the portfolio transformation f
Translate nutrition trends and feed into BU innovation and renovation projects.
Ensure accuracy of nutrition information- communication and positioning of recipes by partnering with the Kraft Heinz culinary team
Help deliver on Healthy Living recipe targets by building awareness within business teams.
Drive and implement internal nutrition and wellbeing initiatives through regularly training- informing and guiding business partners
Own Nutrition related scientific affairs
Identify and build relationships with key external collaborators relevant for the BU and manage key opinion leaders
Support external outreach to healthcare professionals- customers and consumers via creation and maintenance of nutrition education materials and resources- and through regular updates of website materials.
Assess the business implications of external issues- food regulations- public nutrition/health policy and emerging science through external relationships with industry/ trade group- science/health organizations and academic researchers in collaboration with regulatory- legal and public affairs.
Nutrition Community of Practice
Participate and contribute to the nutrition community within the international zone.
Leverage nutrition best practices from other BU’s by collaborating with other nutritionists within KHC
Key Internal Stakeholders
Work in close collaboration with the BU R&D Director- product development- regulatory and marketing colleagues within CE
Work in close collaboration with the International Zone Nutrition Lead- Head of ESG Nutrition to drive the global nutrition agenda
Work in close collaboration with the International Zone ESG Director to drive nutrition related ESG ambition within the BU
Graduate degree in nutrition
Minimum 6 – 8 years experience in a leading CPG environment
Dedicated with an ambitious approach
Willingness to take ownership for success and failures
Collaborative and ability to work with multiple team members within a matrixed environment
Solution oriented with an ability to deal with ambiguity.
