They believe that in the future, financial services will not be primarily provided by banks, but by customer-facing companies embedding financing into other product suites, and they aim to make that possible for everyone.
About the role as New Business Manager
One of the companies key strategic focuses is the continuous expansion of their network of Brokers & Intermediaries in their core markets. They are looking for a persistent person who has a personal approach and who gets energy from building and maintaining relationships. She/he will report to the Broker Partnerships Lead and is responsible for expanding the fast-growing client base in the Netherlands and Belgium. As part of the commercial team, you are responsible for building and developing high-volume partnerships (such as brokers, financial advisors, accountants).
Establish partnerships with various referral partners, ranging from brokers, financial advisors, accountants to the less traditional partners such as franchisors. You are in control of the entire process (from origination, qualification, pitching, negotiation, signing to go-live)
Formulate and execute the acquisition strategy (supported by Broker Partnerships lead in the UK) and using all the tools at your disposal
Relationship management with existing partners
Who are you?
You have 1+ year of experience in sales/business development and setting up partnerships in financial services or e-commerce
You are fluent in Dutch & English
You have a track record in achieving sales targets and setting up, negotiating and closing partnerships
You have the skillset to communicate complex solutions in a simple way and to address senior management effectively
You have the network skills with an entrepreneurial drive
You have good writing and presentation skills
